Half Term activities in London this February 2019


The February half-term in London from February 16 until 22 has plenty to offer for the kids.

From brilliant exhibitions, family museums, the movies, exciting events or park attractions, London has something for everyone. And, with all these half term activities, there is no need to stay inside. Whatever the weather!

Southbank Centre’s Imagine Children’s Festival

This amazing festival is back with 12 jam-packed days of fun. Explore the best children’s theatre, literature and music, with plenty of workshops and free events for everyone. Events include sandpits where you create music and designs through movement. Or a giant chalkboard, hip hop shows and a Peppa Pig concert.

A Pirate’s Life for Me

Visit the V&A Museum of Childhood’s major pirate exhibition. Fictional pirates from the past 300 years, from Captains Pugwash and Hook to Lego’s legendary ‘Black Seas Barracuda’ set. An interactive pirate ship will be there too.

Puddle Jumping Championships

Do you know a child that does not love a good puddle? This February half-term children of all ages are encouraged to grab their wellies and have fun jumping in puddles. There is a Puddle Jumping obstacle course, lots of splash-tastic fun activities and daily winners!

After the puddles why not plant some seeds. You are already in the right gear. On February 21, at Battersea Park Zoo the kids can plant seeds, dig worms and learn about wildlife-friendly plants.

On Mondays animal loving toddlers can come to the zoo and listen to a small, furry animal story and get the opportunity to meet the real life characters!
