These last few weeks have been really cold, but today I can feel that spring is coming. My favorite time of the year! Or is that summer? I cannot decide! Anyway, all the new collections are here, and they are full of light and happiness, anticipating the sun and warmth of the coming months.
Let’s start with my selection for March. I hope you find it inspiring and love it as much as I enjoyed writing about it.
Annice
Annice was created by a pair of architects seeking to put a twist on the way children dress by designing a minimalist, simple, timeless, versatile, chic, and elegant collection.
The first time a saw the Annice children’s fashion collections, my immediate reaction was happiness. Their fashion view is unique and different, somehow, simultaneously, simple and complex. I admire this brand, the concept, the effort, and the eagerness of this creative team to succeed and to create for our children.
The designs have no ornaments other than the details themselves: the cut, a stitch, a fold, a button. The fabrics and colors round off the design of each piece, enhancing or softening its expression.
In their own words: “Here at Annice, we also pose challenges for ourselves: creating delicacy and femininity with sobriety, versatility and comfort, but without relinquishing good taste, and accompanying children in their experiences while having fun and exploring the world.”
Little Bo by Bo-Star Swimwear
This swimwear brand was born in 2013, and owner and creative director Gabriela Ortiz presented the first swimwear collection for women in the summer of 2014.
Tired of searching and never finding quality swimwear with a special touch and an original design, she decided to quit her career and start a new line herself, and the brand has found increasing success since 2014. Fabrics—quality mat Lycras with original and unique prints that make them different—are the basis of this success.
Bo-Star swimwear collection for girls
Every pattern is well planned and designed to make every suit comfortable and to create pieces that, when worn, make women feel truly attractive.
In 2017 the brand expanded to start Little Bo, a new swimwear collection for girls 4 to 14 years old. This is Little Bo’s first summer collection (February 2018), and both customers and the press are equally enthusiastic.
Hi Little!
This new brand presents some pieces inspired by the principles that really matter: childhood, liberty, respect, friendship, and authenticity. Through each of its carefully designed pieces, Hi Little! the idea that the most important things are within ourselves.
This collection includes dresses with geometric patterns in black and red, striped ponchos, skirts and trousers in blue and green shades, and t-shirts and leggings with thoughtful messages. All the items are very soft and comfortable.
The garments are always made in GOTS-certified organic cotton, made in Barcelona, and hand printed item by item. This production process makes every design totally unique. Cristina Romero is the founder and creative director of Hi Little!
Mayoral SS 18 collection for boys and girls
Another iconic Spanish fashion brand for kids, Mayoral has been dressing kids 0 to 16 years old for a very long time, and I love their style.
Mayoral is a family business with history. The company began manufacturing tights and socks in Malaga nearly a century ago! In the 70s they entered the world of children’s fashion.
Currently boasting a presence in more than 100 countries, they are the leading brand for children’s wear in the Iberian peninsula and one of the most important groups specializing in children’s fashion in Europe.
The new SS 18 collection is, as always, elegant and unique. I can recognize the Mayoral style in every picture. Can’t you?

Chispum and friends
Presenting the online store with the most creative, decorative, and fun wall stickers in the world. With Chispum you can decorate your house with style and joy. Chispum collaborates with a group of professional designers to create all their collections. Wall stickers remain their main product, but they’ve also started producing some new lines, such as bed and cushion collections.
