Mum’s reading list #2

Fashion, Kids, LIFESTYLE, Motherhood, People, Shoes

February is nearly over and to make sure that you tick the box for 'best reads of the month' we put some fabulous articles and other web highlights in this one post.

There is a little bit of culture here, interviews, a little fashion (and really special), a great article for families living abroad or the ones who wish to or anyone really who is curious about life.

You know, we want to be your magazine for everything trendy and new from the kids fashion and design world. Yes, we do and we love our métier.

But we also know that life is not just about beautiful dresses, the latest sneakers and biggest launch of the year. It is about life. Life as a family and how we live it. How we grow, change and become the people we are today.

A fascinating circle that is made a little more pretty with cool clothes or a fun book shelf, but that also needs a dose of reality and sharing.

Let’s have a look what we found around the net and bookmarked for this article:

The Guardian launched a new culture podcast called The Start. Bringing major artists to reveal how they began their careers. Sofia Coppola makes the start and talks about the fear and the thrill of directing her debut film, The Virgin Suicides.

Talking about Sofia, we highly recommend this interview too!

Kids footwear trends for Autumn/Winter 2018 gathered by Smudgetikka.

The little storage unit called MOPPE from IKEA still exists. Think a few years back and you could spot it in every home. Apartment Therapy has the best DIY ideas from around the net.

Are you a family that lives abroad? Then this article is for you. (and for everyone else too, because it is that interesting)

Did you see? We opened a new category called EDITORIALS. Sharing the best kids fashion editorials from the most talented photographers and stylists around the world.

Agata e la Tempesta – the “Soviet Kid” Collection with a really inspiring lookbook.

The swimsuit every mum needs by Olivia + Ocean. The first swimsuit designed for mums that is modern, stylish and functional. Now on kickstarter.

Lisa Mehydene, the talented mum behind edit58 did an interview with The Mamahood.
Mother of twins, and the brain behind edit58 an online interiors destination stocking a carefully curated selection of homewares.
