Sky Garden London

London Sky Garden with kids

Cityguide, LONDON, TRAVEL, To do

London looks incredible from up high and for a spectacular view of London including The Shard, you need to be at London’s latest panorama attraction: The Sky Garden at the top of the Walkie Talkie. A public garden with impressive views that needs to be pre-booked online even though it is free.

London is really never in short supply of extraordinary things to do and see. And this is one of them: Europe’s first hanging gardens in the heart of the City of London.

Up on the 36th floor of the ‘Walkie Talkie’ (enough reason to bring the kids, learn something about vintage Walkie Talkies on the way) skyscraper (or 20 Fenchurch Street), magnificent gardens and breathtaking views of famous landmarks make this a must-visit London destination.

Once up you will experience a light and airy feel and a 360 degree view of London that is mesmerising. And it is definitely a great place to bring the kids. Watch out for tiny London buses, see how many buildings you can identify from above or maybe even see a helicopter flying at the same height as you. There is plenty of choice of food and drink which makes it a perfect stop for a little break.

The Sky Garden is spanning across 3 floors and is 155 meters up. From the observation deck or from the open air terrace, you will be able to enjoy one of the best view of London with kids.

Address: 1 Sky Garden Walk, London EC3M 8AF, United Kingdom
