Totter + Tumble was formed out of frustration. Because with the current playmat options, we have to compromise on either our interior style or protection of our children against (hard) floors.
Susie, a mum of two and teacher lives in South London and just launched her brand at the end of last month. It is new, it is from London, it is innovative and it is our perfect Product of the Month of June.
Having a product that I hold to the highest standards has kept my motivation going strong. It took a year of meeting with manufacturers, samples, testing and designing before I felt 100% ready on all aspects.
Totter + Tumble playmats are reversible and designed with quiet patterns and calming hues to compliment any room. And the thick memory foam material gives a beautiful luxurious feel.

There are only a few interior products that are truly suited to the rigmarole of family life with young children. And that also look good within the whole home. There is still a gap between adult interior style and kids interiors, whereas parents and children usually share the same living space.
Susie felt that creating a calm environment for our children (especially babies) and the available colour choices for playmats just did not match.
When she found herself with her 2nd baby and an active toddler, she was looking around for mats that protect against hard floors and that are easy to clean. When there was nothing with all the features she wanted on the market, Susie set about finding her own. That is how Totter + Tumble was formed. Based upon the four principles of simplicity, style, support and safety:

Easy care, antibacterial mats that you just need to wipe down with a gentle cleaning solution and cloth. (baby wipes work perfectly too)
No gimmicks – just straight forward practical playmats that are built to last.

Subtle patterns that are designed to compliment all interior styles. Play spaces should encourage creativity without overwhelming the senses. And when the children go to bed and friends come over, parents can still enjoy their home too.
Supportive
1.3cm of memory foam gives superior cushioning to little ones as they explore, learn and play. This feature makes the playmats perfect for yoga and pilates too.

Entirely made of non-toxic materials, free of BPA, Phthalate, Lead, Latex, Formaldehyde and EVA, and tested to EN71 standards.
