Let’s begin with the Fashion and Lifestyle news from Spain, June 2018. Featuring: Tocotó Vintage, Manuela de Juan shoes, Guillermina Baeza swimwear, Maraquela decoration and Piccolino Vintage.

TOCOTO VINTAGE

Tocotó Vintage is a very well-known brand with lovely designs. Marta Navarro, founder and designer of Tocotó Vintage back in 2012, defines the first steps of this project. “It was born from my love for my children, my love for the sea and my small island of Formentera”.

The new 2018 Spring-Summer collection is called FIRST LOVE NEVER DIE.

Inspired by summer love stories, the result is an especially romantic collection. Delicate floral prints, subtle stripes, cotton-linen and listed linen, soft denim and prints with vintage effect. All of the garments in this collection are easily combinable with each other. Tocotó wants to make our lives easier and more comfortable.

 

MANUELA DE JUAN

Manuela de Juan creates and produces handmade high-end shoes for children. This is one of my favorite Spanish brands when it comes to children shoes. They were born in 1970, so they have many years of experience. They have accompanied me through practically my whole life!

A brand has to be very professional to last so long, and each season they create new collections full of quality and originality. The shoes are designed and produced in the factory they own in Alicante, the heart of the children footwear industry. Handmade by Spanish craftsmen, Manuela de Juan creates high-quality models from natural materials only.

 

PICCOLINO VINTAGE

This is a new brand created by three friends: CLARA, VICTORIA and AINHOA. The idea was to design and produce clothes to be comfortable at home and as pajamas. During a friends’ reunion they started talking about home wear for women. They came to the conclusion that there were a lot of options for them, but they did not find enough pajamas and home wear for kids with good quality and good designs. As a result of this conversation, they decided to start a new lounge clothing brand for kids. The garments are all made in Spain from the highest quality cotton. Sizes from 2 to 8 years old are available.

 

MARAQUELA

I have the pleasure of presenting a new brand, Maraquela, which is all about decoration with watercolors. Rocío, the designer and founder of the brand, has years of experience as a psychologist and also as a teacher. Her earlier professional paths helped her to create with a special sensitivity. One day, by coincidence, she tried watercolor painting, and it was love at first sight. Since then, she has decided to dedicate her time and effort to creating beautiful decoration products. She makes mainly textiles and prints for babies and kids, but I am sure she will continue developing her collections.

GUILLERMINA BAEZA

Guillermina Baeza is another brand that I have known my whole life. I remember buying my first Guillermina Baeza bikini when I was around 18 years old. The collections then were already totally amazing — different and original pieces with a quality that made them last much longer than other swimwear pieces. The great news is that this brand is still at the top of the market. If you are looking for bathing suits for girls or for yourselves, I invite you to visit them. I am sure you will enjoy this new summer collection.

This was all for this month. Are you ready for the summer holidays? I see my kids are already a little bit tired and cannot wait to finish, but they still have the last little bit to go.
