Little Creative Factory – Horizons

FASHION, Kids

Just when we finished our last trade show another highlight was waiting for us. Lunamag.com traveled to Barcelona to attend the Little Creative Factory fashion show for their A/W 2018 collection called 'Horizons'.

The Barcelona-based brand invited for a stunning show in the impressive, newly renovated, Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau.

Little Creative Factory is an ongoing tale of an adventure started in 2011 by Cristina Fernández. Offering innovative children’s clothing with pieces that are modern, made from natural materials with great attention to detail and with the aim of creating emotions.

Striving to keep fashion sustainable, Little Creative Factory’s garments are 100% locally made.
During the January edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, the brand presented its A/W 2018/ 19 collection: Horizons.
A world full of light and hope. Encouraging our children to the journey that has already started and to the new horizons that are still waiting for them.

The little models walked down the runway in front of a black background, still one of the brands’ main colours, and with the minimalistic surrounding the spotlight was on the new collection:

‘Horizons’ unfold under the bright winter sun where an iridescent, deep blue sky meets rusty red earth and charcoal rocky outcrops. Where the mountains meet the clouds and the sky the sea.

It is the tale of a young girl who runs wild and barefoot across an empty, barren landscape that seemingly has no limits. She is rooted to the land and to nature, yet her imagination runs free. Her gaze is constantly drawn to the ever-changing, infinite horizon that is full of hope and possibility.

In this collection we have used vegetable dyes to reflect the vivid, bright colours of this starkly beautiful landscape. Rusty red, limestone-white, charcoal black and bright blue garments are complemented by striped, checked and printed pieces. Our classic linen and cotton fabrics accompany a new quilted range that provides fresh volumes and crisp outlines.

Cristina Fernandez, the designer of Little Creative Factory and her two children Roc & Ona, closed the show with big smiles.

Bravo!
