We would like to invite you to take a look behind the scenes too. Because the brand has a factory in Canggu, Bali. And each dress is a labour of love and is made purely by hand.
First, the fabric is dyed using natural organic fabric dye.
The fabric is then hung out to dry in the sun. Sometimes it causes slight colour differences between fabric batches, which adds to the uniqueness of each individual garment.
After the fabrics are cut, the pieces are then transported to several family villages in the mountains of Bali, where the embroidery takes place.
Once embroidered, the pieces will be sewn into garments. Buttons, tassels and other cute hand-touched finishes will be applied.
Finally, the dress is washed by hand in a bucket of soapy water and then hung out to dry in the shade.
One dress takes about 10 days to make!
