Our dad crush this week: Chris Hemsworth

When your dad is Thor and your mum stars in the Fast and Furious you will be the next superhero, right? Chris Hemsworth is best known for his role of Thor in the Marvel movies but, he is also one of the loveliest celebrity dads we know.
We follow Chris Hemworth’s Instagram account (plus the one of his wife Elsa Pataky) and you can find plenty of precious snaps since they became a family. And we are definitely very charmed by this father of three.
Good-looking, down to earth and a family man, Chris is the perfect choice for our new dad crush:
Chris Hemsworth began dating Spanish actress Elsa Pataky in early 2010 and they wed in December 2010. They have three children: a daughter, India, born in 2012 and twin sons, Tristan and Sasha, born in 2014.
In a quest of privacy he and his family moved from Los Angeles to Byron Bay in his native Australia in 2015. Living a seemingly quite life full of everyday adventures with their children.
The family really always look like they are having a good time, be it days by the beach or walks through the woods. Everyone is laid back and the move was an attempt to recreate his own carefree childhood. Growing up between Melbourne and a small Aboriginal community in Bulman.
But being a famous and busy actor also has it’s downsides:
I want to be there more. My wife and I were talking the other day about how the years are flying by: our daughter is five and a half and the boys are three and a half. And however much time you do have together, it never seems like enough. It’s always exhausting, even when we have help with grandparents or a nanny.

After seven years as Thor, he has finished the final Avengers movie.
Chris is also a generous philanthropist. Good looks and a beautiful heart – the whole package.
And when he isn’t acting or giving back to society, Chris is just like every dad out there. Carrying the kids on his shoulders, falling asleep over good night stories and baking dinosaur birthday cakes.
